We are delighted to invite you to our 1-day-retreat Human Being/Being Human.

Our theme of the day: Acceptance

A recurring and daily challenge for all of us is acceptance. How can we learn to accept what we can not change and change what we can not accept?

In this ‘One-Day City-Retreat’ we offer you a chance to explore your relationship with acceptance through yoga, movement and meditation.

You will come to a deeper understanding of what acceptance means, what stands in the way of it and  how acceptance can help you grow spiritually.

We extend a warm welcome to everyone, regardless of whether you’re a yogi or not, and regardless of your age or level of experience.  This includes those who are just starting out, as well as those who are more advanced in their practice.

What to bring

  • Lunch (snacks, tea and water are included)
  • Comfortable clothes to move in, your favourite shawl, blanket, warm socks, sweater (mats and meditation cushions are provided)


On this day we will alternate between yoga and meditation. Expect to get 2 x 1,5 hours of yoga (adapted to your level), and both sitting and movement meditations varying in length, totalling about 2,5 hrs.
Note: you do NOT need to be experienced in yoga or meditation to participate. An open mind and heart will do!

We will have a one hour lunch break. Bring your own please and keep it fairly light 😉

The teachers

Mark Dowe started teaching movement over 20 years ago, but after realising the power & benefits of a yoga practice, he focused his efforts exclusively on that combination of movement, music and philosophy.

For the past 10 years he worked successfully as a full-time yoga teacher, continuously expanding his knowledge through various retreats & workshops with teachers like Jason Crandell, Rusty Wells, Anat Geiger & Katchie Ananda.

Mark playfully incorporates mindfulness & philosophy into his lessons, making his classes accessible to everyone with an open heart.

He would like to convey that yoga can be a joyful activity, allowing everyone to find support, strength & pleasure through playful exploration.

Marion Keizers was propelled during a burn out on a journey of transformation and personal growth in 2016 through her yoga and meditation practice .

Rebuilding her life post burn-out she founded Eyebrow Guru, a practice for Holistic Eyebrow Styling.

In 2019 she was certified All-Round Meditation teacher. She trained in a variety of techniques such as Vipassana, Yoga Nidra, Osho Meditations and Mindfulness Meditation.

For her, meditation is the foundation for a joyous, fulfilling life.

She offers meditations during her eyebrow sessions to infuse her beauty treatments with mindfulness and openheartedly shares in the joys and sorrows of the human experience with friends and clients.
