Our theme of the day: Acceptance
A recurring and daily challenge for all of us is acceptance. How can we learn to accept what we can not change and change what we can not accept?
In this ‘One-Day City-Retreat’ we offer you a chance to explore your relationship with acceptance through yoga, movement and meditation.
You will come to a deeper understanding of what acceptance means, what stands in the way of it and how acceptance can help you grow spiritually.
We extend a warm welcome to everyone, regardless of whether you’re a yogi or not, and regardless of your age or level of experience. This includes those who are just starting out, as well as those who are more advanced in their practice.
What to bring
- Lunch (snacks, tea and water are included)
- Comfortable clothes to move in, your favourite shawl, blanket, warm socks, sweater (mats and meditation cushions are provided)
Program
On this day we will alternate between yoga and meditation. Expect to get 2 x 1,5 hours of yoga (adapted to your level), and both sitting and movement meditations varying in length, totalling about 2,5 hrs.
Note: you do NOT need to be experienced in yoga or meditation to participate. An open mind and heart will do!
We will have a one hour lunch break. Bring your own please and keep it fairly light 😉
