Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course

The renowned 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is held in English by Emma Ullvin, founder of Resilient Roots (www.resilient-roots.com). Learn life-long tools to improve your mental wellbeing & emotional resilience with this evidence-based mindfulness program.

This program might be for you if you want to:

  • Have more insight into your automatic patterns of thought, emotion and behavior and adapt to more helpful and conscious behaviours and choices
  • Learn how to better and with more flexibility handle difficult experiences, thoughts, and feelings – including workplace situations and relationships
  • Experience more joy, peace and inner stillness, and learn how you can better enjoy your busy life

This ‘gold standard’ program can result in significant physical and psychological health benefits for participants who tend to come with a wide variety of motivations and backgrounds. However, it might be especially worth considering if you struggle with the following:

  • Stress and stress-related symptoms, (preventing/recovering from burnout)
  • Chronic illness, pain, anxiety or depressive moods, (and are looking for a better quality of life)
  • Irritability, impatience, difficulty relaxing

The program is secular, supported by research, and no previous mindfulness/meditation experience is necessary.

Price

The price for the entire course including the silent day is €349 incl. VAT and also includes a workbook, guided audio meditations and a certificate of completion that can be used to qualify for the MBSR teacher training.

About Emma Ullvin

My name is Emma and I’m an Artificial Intelligence Marketing Manager (Expertmaker, now eBay) turned Mindfulness Teacher running stress reduction programs. I found my way to meditation in my early 20s and eventually to mindfulness and the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course when looking for an effective tool for managing stress and a busy life.

Little did I know that it would not only help to make me more equipped to handle stress, but I began to view mindfulness as a foundational skill and practice. These are the roots, from which we can grow a little more stable and resilient to weather the winds of the challenges that life may bring, as well as a gateway to experience more joy, meaning, and equanimity.

As the general dialogue in many cities often centers around overwhelm, stress, busy-ness and for many, burnout, I’m excited to be teaching this skill of mindfulness that is both dear to my heart and supported by science.
